Başlık uzun oldu. Ama bu kez niyetim kendim uzun uzun bir şeyler söylemektense buraya gelenleri bir yazıya yönlendirmek...
2011'in sonuna gelmişken geri dönüp bir bakarsak, bu yıl akıllarda dünyanın dört bir yanında sosyal medya üzerinden örgütlenip değişim talep eden sosyal hareketlerle kalacak diyebiliriz sanırım. Ben de Occupy Wall Street hareketi örneğinde sosyal medya üzerinden gelişen doğrudan demokrasi denemeleri üzerine bir ödev için çıkmıştım yola. Ama kaynaklarımdan biri son günlerin gündemine de bu kadar uygun olunca paylaşmadan duramadım.

The new generation of students demands to be heard, and the changes in the nature of social movements mean not only that universities have to become more open and interactive but also that faculty members who hope to collaborate with student protesters have to learn how to accept a new mode of political organization."
